The Unknown Caravel
Puppet Theatre
Based on the work *The Tale of the Unknown Island *, by José Saramago
Sailing is an act rooted in the culture of the Portuguese nation, something that has enabled the knowledge of diverse people and "worlds," but navigating through dreams, in an imaginary universe, is also a gift we all possess in our essence. To do so, we need to free ourselves, we must allow ourselves to dive into deep waters, transporting ourselves to daring seas and distant lands, where we can be mermaids, pirates, kings, or… simply, whoever we want to be.
