JACARANDÁ

Puppet Theatre

Sap is the blood, a vital liquid that flows in the veins of nature, transporting water and nutrients to bodies of different sizes, thicknesses, and colors, originating from various places. Sap is the blood that drives the growth of trees. We know they represent a rich source of oxygen production in the world, yet much remains unknown.

Jacarandá delves into the unknown, where infinity unfolds. It is a puppet theater and animated form spectacle that seeks to investigate the hidden and mysterious universe of nature. It reveals the colors, rhythm, and botanical mastery in which many beings dwell. What we do not yet know is infinite.

This sensory and intimate work, without the use of words, is a solo performance by dancer and puppeteer Magnum Soares, with artistic direction by himself and stage director Adriana Melo.
